STAY WITH US
Pisé Cottage is the latest chapter in our Calabash Waters journey - a cosy, character-filled stay lovingly rebuilt on the footprint of the original 120-year-old farmhouse.
Unplug. Reconnect. Explore.
Once held together by mud, chicken wire, and stones gathered from the property, the cottage has been given a thoughtful facelift. We’ve preserved the original fireplaces and honoured the past by rebuilding with traditional rammed earth techniques, creating a space that blends rustic charm with modern comfort.
Inside, you’ll find three cosy bedrooms, two bathrooms, and all the thoughtful touches - including a low-tox environment, natural lighting, and a deep bathtub with a view.
Step outside to 100 acres of bushland, picnic spots, and a freshwater dam. Whether you’re exploring nearby towns like Bathurst and Orange, or simply unwinding by the fire, Pisé Cottage is a place to reconnect - with yourself, each other, and Mother Nature.

Before the Transformation
This charming 120-year-old cottage was once held together with mud, chicken wire, and stacks of stones from the farm. Before its restoration, the space carried years of history - from soot-stained fireplaces to crumbling verandahs. These “before” images show just how far the Pisé Cottage has come, blending the old bones of the building with thoughtful, regenerative design.
